Article 1: Booking and contract

1.1 Booking

By making a reservation on our website, you accept these terms and conditions of sale.

To book a stay, please provide accurate and complete information, such as your personal details, desired dates of stay, number of occupants, etc.

Your booking will only be confirmed once you have received confirmation from us, together with payment details. If you do not receive this email, please contact us on +33 (0)6 24 21 08 91 or by email [email protected]

1.2 Contract

This contract is intended for the exclusive use of booking stays in B&Bs approved by the relevant departmental or interdepartmental branch on behalf of the Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France.

The Fédération Nationale des Gîtes de France cannot be held liable for any use of its contracts by third parties or for non-tourist purposes.

Guests will be given the warmest welcome. The owner undertakes to welcome them personally with all due attention to facilitate their stay and knowledge of the region.



Article 2 - length of stay :

The customer who signs the present contract concluded for a fixed period may under no circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.



Article 3 - conclusion of contract :

The reservation becomes effective once the customer has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total price of the stay with a minimum of one night per room booked and a copy of the contract signed before the date indicated on the front. The second copy of the contract is to be retained by the customer. Prices include all charges according to the description, but exclude tourist tax.



Article 4 - No right of withdrawal :

For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, and this in accordance with Article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to the provision of accommodation services provided on a date or according to a specific period.



Article 5 - Cancellation by the customer :

All cancellations must be notified by letter or email and telephone call to the owner.

a) Cancellation before the start of the stay: if the cancellation is made more than 15 days before the start of the stay, the balance of the stay will be reimbursed.

If cancellation is made less than 15 days before the start of the stay, the balance of the stay will be retained by the owner.

b) If the customer does not show up before 7 p.m. on the scheduled start date of the stay, the present contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of his guest rooms. The balance remains the property of the owner.

c) In the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the initial stay is retained in full by the owner.



Article 6 - Cancellation by the owner :

If the owner cancels the stay before the beginning of the stay, he must inform the customer by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

Without prejudice to any claims for damages, the customer will be immediately reimbursed for any sums paid. The customer will also receive an indemnity at least equal to the penalty that would have been incurred if the cancellation had been made by the customer on that date.



Article 7 - Arrival/departure :

The customer must arrive on the day and at the time specified on the present contract. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the customer must inform the owner.

7.1. Arrival policy

The room is available from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m

7.2. Check-out policy

Rooms must be vacated by 7:30 a.m. and no later than 11:00 a.m



Article 8 - Rates and payment

8.1 Payment for the stay is made in accordance with the terms and conditions indicated at the time of booking, such as the total amount, any service charges and any applicable cancellation conditions. Cancellation and modification conditions vary according to the type of reservation and rates selected.

Additional charges, such as local taxes, service charges or security deposits, may apply. These will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

8.2.1 standard rate

All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card valid on the date of arrival.

The balance of the total amount will be taken at the time of booking

Changes

For any modification concerning the number of people, or the dates of stay, please contact us directly. We will try to accommodate you according to our availability.

Cancellation

No cancellation fees apply before 4pm (local time), up to 15 days before arrival. After this date, the full amount of the reservation will be due.

Cancellations made before this date will result in reimbursement of the payment made at the time of booking.



Article 9 - Payment of balance :

The balance must be paid at the time of booking.

Consumption and additional services not mentioned in this contract must be paid to the owner at the end of the stay.



Article 10 - tourist tax :

The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner, who then transfers it to the Treasury.



Article 11 - Use of the premises / Responsibilities of travellers :

The customer must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the rooms in good condition.

Travelers are required to respect the establishment's rules and policies during their stay. (no smoking/vaping, except in dedicated outdoor areas, no parties, observance of closing times)

Travelers are responsible for the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation during their stay. Any damage caused to the property will be charged to the traveler.

Travelers are responsible for the security of their personal belongings. The establishment declines all responsibility in the event of loss, theft or damage.



Article 12 - capacity :

The present contract is drawn up for a specific number of people. If the number of guests exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse additional guests.

This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the owner's initiative, so that in the event of the departure of a number of customers greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.



Article 13 - Animals:

The present contract specifies whether or not the customer may stay in the company of a pet. Should the customer fail to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the animals.

This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or breach of contract on the owner's initiative, so that in the event of the customer's departure, no refund can be considered.



Article 14 - Disputes :

Any complaint relating to the state of the property must be submitted to the Gîtes de France departmental or interdepartmental office within three days of the start of the stay.

Any other complaint relating to a stay must be sent by letter as soon as possible to the Gîtes de France departmental office, which is competent to make a proposal for an amicable settlement.

These provisions are without prejudice to any legal action taken by the customer or the owner



Article 15 - Responsibilities of the establishment.

We are committed to providing a quality service and to making your stay enjoyable. However, we cannot be held responsible for disruptions or incidents beyond our control.

In the event of a problem or complaint during your stay, please inform us immediately so that we can take the appropriate measures to remedy the situation.
